Hi, I'm Katy, owner of What Katy Makes. I’m a high school math teacher and hobby sewist in central PA. I ran a small shop creating children’s clothing featuring nerdy designs like math and science, but I had such a hard time finding fabric that I began to design my own. That’s how I found Carriage House, and I’ve been here ever since!
In addition to designing, sewing, and teaching, I also enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter as well as teaching color guard with a marching band. I’m happy to be working with Carriage House to share my designs with all of you! Thank you for your support!
